What the Sunset means to me

Whenever I’m visiting different places, there’s one scene that would always make me stop, take out my smart phone and take a snap shot – that of the sunset.

After taking the shot, I’ll just stare at it for a while and bask in the relaxing feeling, continue admiring it at a distance – wondering if it’s possible to pause time and stay in this particular moment.

Sometimes this awesome scene appears somewhat pinkish

Other times, it’s just a bright ball of fire

There are times when it looks like a small dot in the distance

And there are also times when it seemed that it had already rested and only left a few streaks of colors in the sky – signifying that nighttime has started.

Most of the time, it’s bright yellow and orange – my favorite among its colors 🙂

But no matter what colors it brightly shows, it reminds me that:

Even if my day was not that good or it did not turn out the way I wanted it to. Even if I have faced life’s ugly realities during the day, still my day will end beautifully.

The sunset is a remarkable proof that no matter how dark or chaotic a day in my life would be – the brightly colored sunset will always wrap it up gracefully. And I will be happy. 🙂

I’m always grateful for having a Creator who made this wondrous and beautiful sight.
